PROGRAMME
Anti Drug Awareness
The programme aims to reach youth, community people about the dangers of illegal drug use and prevent the abuse of legalized and prescription drugs. The Anti Drug Awareness Program relies on volunteers to promote a drug-free lifestyle. By taking pride in India’s communities and youth, the Anti Drug Awareness Program takes action against drug use through education and inspiration.
Mother & Child Care
The MCC awareness is meant for reaching health care services to the women specially the mother and children with the following objectives:
1. Mother & Child Care and to protect girl child
2. Reaching the Unreached.
3. Bridging the gap.
4. Ensuring accessibility to Quality Health Care services.
5. Strengthening local groups.
Environment Pollution
On the occasion of World Environment Day we have conducted Awareness programme on environment and ecology among the target groups to motivate them for creation of a favorable scenario to protect environment and ecology aiming at restoration of earth. Plantation programme was also organized under this programme activity.
Safe Drinking Water
We stressed on access to drinking water because of scarcity of safe drinking water in the area. Safe Drinking Water being one of the major need because of protection from water born disease from the local ponds and such other sources of water, our efforts were to installation of Tube Wells as much as possible to be used as Safe drinking water with the help of the Community Contribution, Panchayet and some well wishers
Women Education
We are started women free education in sundarban and Paschim Medinipur rural and tribal area through free coaching. Total 120 nos. Women are admission in these school. We are support book ,dress , pen, bags and Tiffin. They are came and enjoy the study fruitfully.
World Health Day
On the occasion of World Health Day we have conducted awareness programme on health and immunization to improve the nutritional health and development status of adolescent girls and women to strengthen their personal health, hygiene and nutrition. Emphasized was given on full utilization of immunization services, de-worming, iron and folic acid supplements, Vitamin A supplements and supplementary utilization of micronutrient.
KISHORI SHAKTI YOJANA
We are aware more than 300 tin agers girls in Sonarpur Block under South 24 Parganas in West Bengal. The programme funding support by Govt. Of west Bengal training partner Sankarpur Pally Unnayan Samity, South 24 Parganas. Dr. D. Majumder(DMBS) and Mrs. Mala Goswami (B.Sc. Nursing) are speech and aware the all adulation girls for their needy nutrition, Harmonization problem and other Basic need for their smooth live of lead.
TRAINING PROGRAMME
Community Health Worker
To upgrade the skill of women in health sector for job opportunity the organization has conducted Training Programme on Community Health Care for 15 days that they can provide their services for primary health care.
Basic Health Training
Under this programme enthusiastic women and girls were trained on basic health care, safety and life support programme through practical and theoretical classes to develop their skills in health care.
Handicapped Training Programme
Organization arrange one training progranne for Pwd s person at sonarpur Block in South 24 parganas, total 84 participates in this programme, and opening the programme by CDPO/Sonarpur Blocl/South 24 Parganas.
Agriculture Transcription
Through our farmer’s club we have organized this year Training/Workshop on sustainable agriculture through awareness building and demonstration on improving traditional agricultural practices through scientific know-how and technical input. Motivation on use of organic manure, Bio Gas and diversified cropping as also use of neem paste and vermicompost has been made.
PASCHIM CHANDANESWAR SHIKSHA NIKETAN
We are providing education from the childhood to mid level and to nourish them to unfold their creative excellence that they can participate in the nation building as a good citizen in the near future. Thus through different educational interventions we have made our students confident about their self progressing attitude to and our teachers are the facilitators of unfolding the petals of the students that is the quality development leading towards quality education.
Paschim Chandaneswar Shiksha Niketan is an experimental learning centre for the children who are either drop out or out of school is being run by PDPMSS is a model of people’s initiative to run such an experimental school where contributions for maintaining the school being an expletory work by the charity of the local people.
NIHARIKA (KG-IV SCHOOL)
Education Programme is the foundation for human development. The convention on the Rights of the child states that every child has the right to develop to the maximum extent possible to achieve their full potential. Children who receive adequate care and creative opportunities for growth and development during early childhood are more likely to benefit from later education and other social services. They are also likely to be more productive and healthy citizens. Accordingly, PDPMSS is running a Primary School namely Niharika for the poor and destitute children in Pathar Pratima Block.
CULTURAL PROGRAMME
Sit & Draw Competition
Drawing Competition was organized on environmental issues among the school students with the objective of spreading awareness among them about the environmental scenario, tree plantation, waste management that they can share their knowledge with their parents, other children and neighbors which contributes to a better society. After successful completion of the competitions the winning students were applauded by prizes.

Culture is a harmonious expansion of all the powers, which make the beauty and worth of human nature. The cultural and recreational programs have played a pivotal role in building moral character and ethnic values. Every year PDPMSS organize annual cultural program on 09th February,2018 at organization near play ground (Aaguyan Sangha’s play Ground) where school children and young members of the organization staged Dance, Drama, plays and performed recitation and singing in the annual cultural meet. But in this year women member are fully involve the programme and they are meet to various sports in the day i.e Musical chair, Candle fire etc. Our all special guest are invited in this programme.
Rabindra Jayanti
To commemorate Rabindranath’s Birth celebration we have organized cultural programme on Tagore, comprising recitation, songs, drama and dance etc. The school children and local young talents joined this programme to express their heartiest regards to Tagore by presenting their performances which was encouraged by the audience.
Independence Day
On 15th August we have celebrated Independence Day to commemorate the freedom fighters and the remarkable personalities. Children of the surrounding areas were participated in this celebration and performed cultural presentation.
Republic Day Celebration
On 26th January we have celebrated Republic Day to aware the children about this glorious day. The children were actively participated in this programme as also the community members.
Netaji’s Birthday Celebration
We have celebrated Netaji’s Birthday on 23rd January to commemorate his great sacrifice towards the country. School Children and youth of our area were actively participated in this programme.
HEALTH PROGRAMME
Free health check-up camps have been organized during the period under review and the programme was very much effective and completed successfully. These health camps aim at promoting health seeking behaviour in the long term and thus, unlike a general curative health camp, these camps majorly work on building awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation.
